Zines, Projects, Books, Experiements

Non-collage projects. Or projects that aren’t just collage. Maybe there’s AI. Maybe these are zines, but not printed. There’s a through-line in here somewhere, even if it’s a bit hard to find.

  • An abstract geometric artwork with a large diamond shape at the center composed of triangles in pastel colors, set against a dark background with additional colorful shapes and textures. Handwritten German text reads 'die Zeit' and 'ein neuer weg.'

    Jazz Kissa of Forgotten Records

Documenting the revolutionary music and design of the now-forgotten ACC Records label.

  • A line drawing of various objects including a perfume bottle, a vase, a small bowl, and a wine bottle, all displayed in an abstract style.

    Museum of Bottle Drawings

An ongoing project to both draw bottles, vases and similar vessels and, for some reason, to collect them.

  • Text reading 'Collection and collage' in bold, italicized black font on a light gray background.

    Collection and Collage

Building an exhibition experience with Figma and investigating how source imagery influences presentation

  • A line drawing of a person with short hair, sitting with a cellphone, and the text, '…sedentary peoples, farmers, prefer the pleasures of circular time…'.

    Flights, a Sketchbook

Sketches from airports, paired with a quote from Flights, by Olga Tokarczuk

  • A mixed media collage combining a black and white photo of houses with abstract textured and painted sections, including black, orange, blue, and beige areas.

    Stop Motion Collage

A short animation documenting the creation of a collage.

  • A black and white photo of a woman standing by a lake, with layered images of trees, a bridge, and a pathway leading to the water.

    AI Collage Experiments, v01

Taking two analog collages into Midjourney and seeing what happens.

  • Title page with large, green and black text reading "Lines, Shapes & Letters" and smaller black text describing selected sketchbook pages, quotes, and newsletters from early 2023, as well as an email address and website.

    Lines, Shapes & Letters

A ten page digital zine, collecting some of my sketchbook pages, and quotes that I’ve highlighted. All from January-June, 2023.
