What ACC Records released during its short life changed music forever. Until everyone forgot about them.
ACC deserves to be remembered. Part of the problem is that it remains unclear what exactly “ACC” stands for. Some sources claim that it’s „Astral Cartographers Collective“, others claim „Acoustic Collage Club“. It’s even been suggested that it’s the initials of the founders - though who the founders are, no one can say with certainty.

What we do have, and what can help us remember this pioneering label, are album covers. Like many other parts of ACC’s history, the designers and artists behind these covers have gone unrecorded but thanks to the impeccable art direction, an ACC record sleeve is immediately recognizable.
