One of a series of six collages using pages from the Erhardt-Mathis Big Illustrated Cookbook, primed with gesso, as bases for found paper & abstract photograph collages. The photograph comes from a book about a Polish sculptor from the mid-15th century. The painted element is a scrap from a monoprinting project, and the typography from a circa 1990 socialist newspaper.
